  • Loss of last settings

    Hello All,
I have the 7.1.4 with Nvidia Shield Pro.
It seems most times I place Soundbar on standby for the night I turn it back on the next day and the settings are not the same. I have settings 1 and 2 set but would rather not use this every time I turn the soundbar back on.
Soundbar is on current firmware and has been reset to factor once already.
This unit is a refurb from Nakamichi.
    Any suggestions?
    Thank you

Re-installing the firmware from Nakamichi might help? I know some had memory-related issues that were resolved by doing that.

Sorry to bring this up again but due to busy life I finally got to it.
unfortunately I was not able to reinstall the firmware as it kept telling me I was on the latest.
Is there anything else I could do?
again, I have already reset the device and changed wifi frequency.
        Thank you.

Hi H3is3nb3rg, could we confirm if your Shockwafe Pro 7.1.4 is running FW35? To check this, you'll need to turn on the soundbar, and press the "Info" button on your remote until "FW __" is displayed, where __ is the firmware version.

If FW35 is shown, what we would recommend trying is a soft and hard reset (which involves unplugging the soundbar from your power source). This might resolve the symptoms you are facing:

If a lower firmware version number is shown, this means the firmware update wasn't succesful. Please download the firmware again from our website. You will need a USB 2.0 Drive formatted in FAT32 to install the firmware.

Do let us know if this does not resolve it, and we'll reach out to you privately to provide more support options.
          Thanks!

I have tried everything you mentioned above. I'm on the current firmware (FW35).
